A century too late: “1911” on 10.10.2011

NUS History Society invites you to watch 1911 with us!

1911, also known as Xinhai Revolution and The 1911 Revolution, is a 2011 Chinese historical drama film. The film is a tribute to the 100th anniversary of the Xinhai Revolution. It is also, Jackie Chan’s 100th movie, but we assure you that this is not about Jackie Chan. It’s about a bunch of people with common interests bonding over a great movie and perhaps a discussion of it during dinner afterward. Do join us and bring a friend or two, if you like. ;)

Details:
10.10.2011, Monday.
GV Vivocity
16:30 (the movie runs for 121 minutes)
$7/ pax

TO DO:
1. RSVP on Facebook by 6th October, Friday,
2. AND also drop by the HisSoc Room next week to pay your dues.
By the way, you can bring any friend along, just let us know how many tickets you want beforehand. (:

Join us and relive the revolution,
NUS History Society.

Disclamer: The text above should not be used as evidence of sedition in a court of law, the organisers have no political agenda; just an innocuous movie date. PEACE OUT~ (
