You might have essays, presentations and finals coming up, but fret not! HISSOC is here with you through it all; from making each study session less sour with sweets, to making your cravings for cup noodles go away. It’s that time of the year again with our semesterly Welfare Giveaway, marking the first event organised by the 52nd HISSOC committee.
Taking place last Tuesday to Thursday, our welfare director, Douglas, together with the HISSOC committee, stationed along the AS6 walkway to give out welfare packs to HY and EU students, as well as our freshmen taking the respective intro modules. Thanks Douglas for the hard work and time spent on taking care of the History community!
Besides giving out welfare packs, we also launched our 10th issue of our semesterly publication, Mnemozine! Do check out the link here for a digital copy, or you can approach any of our HISSOC Exco members for the physical copy too!
A welfare giveaway is never complete without the sale of our History identity shirts! As one of the most popular Arts shirts in FASS, we managed to get hold of enough stock for distribution! Sales of the shirts were brisk too, and if any of you still want to purchase them, do contact us on our Facebook or approach our Exco members.
Lest we forget our wonderful History Department as well! It was great getting together with our professors and administrative staff while showing them gratitude for their hard work and concern.
