9th ASEAN Quiz

This year, NUS History Society partnered with the Infocomm Media Development Authority – IMDA to organise the National- and Regional-levels of the 9th ASEAN Quiz, a biennial competition where youths can gain a deeper appreciation of the region’s political, economic, cultural and social developments. A total of 15 HISSOC members joined the organising committee to plan the large-scale event.

On September 5, the National-level Quiz was held, attracting over 400 participants from 41 schools in Singapore. Adopting an online quiz format, the competition challenged the participants’ understanding of ASEAN. The competition saw St. Joseph’s Institution emerging victorious in a close fight, and the three representatives were given the honour of representing Singapore in the Regional round.
